On our first date, I wanted to showcase a side of my personality that was very “me,” no matter how ridiculous it was. The person’s acceptance or rejection would determine if I wanted to continue to pursue them or not — because, why would I want to be with someone who I have to censor myself around? If I cannot be myself with someone I might possibly start a future with, I honestly wouldn’t wanna waste my time being something I’m not 🤷🏻‍♀️. So from this experience, the worst that could’ve happened is a stranger leaving the date with some random TMI info about me, but I GUESSS things turned out for the better? 🤔
